Beginner Adult Sailing Lessons
No experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to get a little wet.
What you’ll learn

- Rigging and boat handling
- Tacking, jibing, and docking
- Basic safety and rules of the water
We sail a well-maintained fleet of 420s, Mariners, and Sunfish — real boats, real variety, so you get comfortable with more than one type of hull.

Format: 8 multi-hour sessions. Class sizes vary, from private to small groups.
Cost: $300 for the full 8-session course.
Where: Edgewater Park, at the Red Dragon Canoe Club waterfront on the Delaware River.
