Our Story

Delaware River Sailing School has its roots in a program run for years out of a historic waterfront club on the Delaware River in Edgewater Park, NJ — home to the club since 1926. The club previously operated a sailing school and waterfront camp, and we’re bringing that same spirit back to the river.

Our fleet includes a mix of 420s, Mariners, and Sunfish, giving every sailor room to grow — from a first afternoon on the water through more advanced boat handling.

All instruction follows US Sailing curriculum standards, taught by experienced, dedicated instructors and volunteers who love this river as much as our students do.

We’re relaunching under the same name because that name means something — to the sailors who learned here, and to the river itself.
